R Boudoir | Black Lace Boudoir

I love Boudoir for the fact it is simple yet very classy.  My client rocked her session and was so confident while doing so.  We all had a fabulous time creating these awesome poses and working with one another to get that perfect pose just right.  I even went as far to sit on a toilet to snap the right angel for a certain pose.  Hey, you got to do what you got to do!
I was so lucky to be able to rent out a room at Rixey Manor during my Boudoir Marathon.  Rixey Manor was seriously the perfect place to bring to life all my ideas and also make my clients feel comfortable and welcomed.  Which is very important!

J Boudoir | Black Lace Boudoir

Meet Jamie,  She is one my best friends sister whom I have known for almost 12 years!  She has watch me grown from a bratty  high school freshman to a mother of two gorgeous girls.  Me and Jamie did some Boudoir down by the River back in 2013 and couldn’t get enough of my work so she booked again with me at the Rixey Manor Boudoir Mini’s.
Jame is confident in her own skin. You can see that through her posing and beautiful smile. We work together to calibrate outfits, ideas, poses and more to make  her session perfect in every way!   She did an amazing job and I am so thrilled to share these images with you

This BY far some of my favorite Boudoir images I have taken in the almost 4 years of doing photography.  My lovely client J, was such a doll to work with and to be honest she was nervous throughout most of her session BUT you could NEVER tell because she has a great poker face 😉
I was so happy when she contacted me and we began speaking about her session and what she had plans for it.  She purchase a lovely little black book to give to  her other half for Christmas.   I had blast working with her and so did she.  The girl time talking with the hair and make up girls and just getting to know each other better was so much fun before we jump into the MORE fun stuff!   We shoot this session as Rixey Manor during my Mini Marathon Session back in December.

E – Boudoir | Black Lace Boudoir

This fabulous chick came to me all the way from Richmond!  We went to school together (so I cheated a little ;-D)
Emily was such a fun and outgoing person. I mean anyone who meets her is going to fall in love with her.  I had a fun and neat idea that I had her and 2 other ladies help me bring to life.  These ladies are a true jem because they allow me to build  up my portfolio for an edgy feel.  I always want to try and do something different and stand out and Emily REALLY let me capture her in just that way.   We were able to use an old house as a backdrop and also shoot outdoors near the location.  This really allowed her to have a verity in backgrounds and different options for posing and what not.  BUT she rocked every single pose, every single idea like a true model.   You can see her confident throughout the entire gallery in which I wanted to capture because I feel that is so important to have when doing a boudoir session but it isn’t a must.  I just find a women who loves her body and is brave enough to lay in the grass in November is truly one amazing person no doubt.
