Miss T’s First Birthday | Cake Smash

This little enjoyed her first taste of CAKE!  I mean who doesn’t like cake?  We had a blast letting her eat her cake and capture some great candid shots of her being herself. Which is what I love to do.  I am by the way  very jealous of her blue eyes!  They are so full for life.  I think one of my favorite parts about capturing little ones is their reaction to something new.  Their emotions with silly hats and sweetness  between their toes and fingers.  That cute smile with all the cake in their mouth because just finally hit the jack pot with the real food.  It’s always a fun event to capture and experience.   I love the fact that all my clients have such wonderful and neat ideas for their session which allows each little one to have their very own custom session.  It’s a total joy putting together the set up and then letting them smash that cake!

Yates Family | Culpeper, VA

Michelle contacted me a few days before Christmas asking about family pictures. She told me it had been several years since she had family pictures and wanted to get them done because all of her children would be home for the Holidays this year. I couldn’t turn down this beautiful family and had such a great time photographing them! We went to a barn near by to truly capture the Christmas feel and get those amazing sunset views right from where we were standing during our session.   These guys were pretty sweet and easy to photography.  I have notice that the older the kids get (yes even those who are 18 years are older) can sometimes be stiff.  I always try and use my jokes and goofiness to TRY and lighten the mood but not all of them are interested. Luckily this group though I was somewhat funny.  When you photograph more younger kiddos it can be really hard to re-frame from trying not to tickle them or make goofy faces.  I mean that stuff just isn’t cook when you are photographing young adults or even adults. 😉     But Michelle was able to get the pictures she truly wanted

Family & Children Photographer based out of Culpeper, Va.  Ramilyn’s Photography also travels and provides bright and vibrant photographs to each of her clients in the Warrenton and Northern VA areas.

James & Rachel | Culpeper, VA

These two are just pretty much the best couple EVER to photograph.  They both had me laughing pretty hard.  It was so much fun to have such a relax session.  I am pretty luckily to call them my friends as well which of course makes this session even more special to me.
The love they have for one another is truly unique but I love that.  These two came out in the very cold November weather right at sunset to capture that perfect golden light!  I think their love pretty much had the “glow” effect though which made these pictures priceless!
